Yesterday’s Gone believes that no woman should have to go back to an abusive situation. Our program assists women who have suffered abuse or trauma by offering housing, life coach services, and access to local resources. Yesterday’s Gone guides them on a healing journey towards self-sustainability. Our Vision is to live in a world where no woman has to go back to an abusive situation.
The Program
The program is designed to support women who have been abused or suffered trauma by offering transitional housing while they heal and prepare to live independently. Life coach services are provided to help guests navigate local resources and to provide encouragement along the journey. The program includes access to Yesterday’s Gone Healing Curriculum and setting achievable goals to guide women toward independence and self-sustainability.

Yesterday’s Gone is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our purpose is to provide access to housing, education, coaching, and counseling services. We serve women who have been battered, abused, or had traumatic or other destabilizing experiences or those who were in the foster care system. Our program encompasses their dependent children.

I met Angela from Yesterday’s Gone about a year ago through a local networking group, and from the moment she began sharing the organization’s mission, I knew we had to be involved. Yesterday’s Gone is doing truly life-changing work. Their commitment to helping women and children who have experienced domestic violence regain their independence is both powerful and deeply needed in our community. As a WBENC Certified Woman-Owned business, supporting women is not just important to us — it’s personal. Their mission immediately touched my heart. We’ve had the privilege of installing mini-split systems in the tiny homes that serve as transitional housing for these families. Knowing that we are helping provide safe, comfortable, and reliable climate control for women and children during such a pivotal chapter of their lives means more to us than I can put into words. A home should be a place of peace and security, and we’re honored to play a small role in creating that environment. Yesterday’s Gone doesn’t just provide housing — they provide hope, resources, accountability, and a pathway forward. Angela and her team are making a tangible difference, and our community is stronger because of them. We are incredibly proud to support their mission.
