
Lauren Garza
Director of Grants
Lauren Garza is a nonprofit grant professional with over four years of
experience securing funding for mission-driven organizations across Central
Texas, and over ten years of experience in nonprofit development as a
whole. She joined Yesterday's Gone as the Director of Grants in April of
2026. Previously, she held grants leadership roles at Family Eldercare and
AGE of Central Texas, where she managed foundation relationships and grant
portfolios supporting services for older adults, and raised funds for two
different FQHCs in New Hampshire after serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA at a
NH Seacoast nonprofit providing visual and performing arts education to
teen girls. Lauren holds a B.A. in Sociology and Women's Studies from the
University of New Hampshire.
When she's not working, Lauren spends time with her dog, Goose, watching
the WNBA, and enjoys the local music scene in Austin.
