Welcome to Yesterday’s Gone!

I am Loree Tamayo, Founder of Yesterday’s Gone. We are a non-profit organization that provides transitional housing for abused women and their dependents right here in Williamson County, Texas.

Our grand opening is scheduled for February 2024, and we’ve already received inquiries from several women eager to join us. The need is substantial, and we’re fully committed to meeting it head-on.

Yesterday’s Gone supports women recovering from past abuse or trauma. We provide more than a safe place to live. Our program and the services included are designed to give women the ability to rise above past struggles and achieve job readiness, self-sustainability, and life-long stability. Our core values are dignity, respect, and strength.

Did you know that about 1 in 3 women report having experienced severe physical violence from an intimate partner? My passion for this cause is deeply rooted in my experiences with abuse and trauma because I am one of three. Our life coach has also overcome various challenges related to abuse and trauma in her life. Thank you for your support and for being part of our journey.
